You can see from one end to the other in the smaller Zion National Park Tunnel.  Along the way, the Zion-Mt. Carmel
Highway navigates six switchbacks and two tunnels. Driving along U-9, the Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway, is one of America's
favorite adventures. Plan time to enjoy the splendor of this scenic byway and main highway through Zion National Park.
Many trails and pullouts are located along the road. After leaving Zion National Park's east entrance, U-9 will intersect with
US-89 at the resort community of Mount Carmel Junction.
