Zion Photo:  Walter's Wiggles on the West Rim Trail

Squiggle the Wiggles on the West Rim Trail leading to Angels Landing. Walter's
Wiggles are named after Zion's first custodian, Walter Ruesch who helped
engineer them in 1924. The wiggles were cut into the solid rock of this mountainside.
There are 21 switchbacks that lead from Zion Canyon, through Refrigerator Canyon
and up to Scout Lookout.  The trail continues to Lava Point in the Kolob Terrace
section of Zion National Park.
