Zion National Park PicturesZion National Park Photography offers
the opportunity to not only view the extraordinary variety of photo rich environments
in Zion, but to record them on film to enjoy time and time again. This Zion National
Park picture collection is the result of taking a digital camera through Zion's
flash floods, snow storms, lightening storms, bright sunny days and even through
the dark bowls of Zion's magnificent slot canyons, backpack trails, hiking trails
and climbing expeditions. Follow us on a photo tour of magnificent Zion National
Park! Photo Tips - In Zion National Park, lighting is a challenge as the sun moves over the giant monoliths. Try shooting early in the day or using the shadows to create an artistic mood in the photo. With a digital camera the sky is often washed out and blends with the white mountain tops. Avoid times of the day when the sun shines directly on the tops of the mountains to help correct this.
| Best Western Reservations East Zion Lodge Mileage from Stay in the heart of the parks, Mount Carmel Junction, and visit the treasures of the Southwest and Utah. I am Tanya Milligan and the author of this site. I grew up and lived in the Zion area most of my life. My Grand Parents homestead the land in Mt. Carmel Jct. in 1930 and I spent my summers hiking in Zion and enjoying this incredible place where I live and work today. I really started to explore Zion however, when I met my hiking partner Bo Beck. After we met we spent the next 6 plus years hiking almost every weekend without fail. Bo lives in Ivins, Utah and is well known in the outdoor world as a hiker, canyoneer and climber. Bo has lent his expertise to this site by writing the directions to the trails, canyons and climbs. Bo is my best friend and I trust him to take me just about anywhere and so he has done just that. Please enjoy the information we have and continue to provide here and share our love of Zion National Park |
